The Summer holidays are nearly here!

Whether you call it a holiday (British) or a vacation (American), when the summer break is here, you will be having a good time!

The weather is sunny, but you may get some rain as well.

There is no school, no homework, only lots of other things to do and time to relax and enjoy yourselves.

For everyone who likes sport, you can go swimming in a lake or go mountain biking or hiking in the mountains. Or if you’re travelling abroad to a holiday home, or staying at a hotel or a campsite, you can use the swimming pool or go on an outdoor adventure there. When you’re in a foreign country it might be nice to go sightseeing and buy some souvenirs as well.

Before going on a holiday, you have to pack your suitcase. The fun already starts before you go: decide which shorts or sundresses you will need, pack a bathing suit, some sunglasses and sunscreen as well. Load it into the car, a caravan or a camper and off you go!
